Whether the screenprint has seven colors or just two, each one is there at the service of the overall final piece." -Chris Jalufka As both the illustrators and printers of their work, the Buchanans understand paper and ink, the squeegee and screen, and how they all play together. Shooting the commercial did make her a little nervous, Rico said. Rico also will be attending a Pizza Hut convention in Dallas in October.
In addition to filming the commercial, Rico said a car and driver picked up her and her mom from their home in Long Beach and drove them to Hollywood, where they stayed four days and were able to meet the other commercial participants and tour the area.
